My New Favorite Thing

You know how Oprah has those annual 'Oprahs Favorite Things' shows?
Well this is the first edition of 'Megs Favorite Thing'...singular.

My mom said something about having a headache yesterday evening. She went into the bedroom and got this odd looking flat thing out of a drawer and plugged it into the wall. Of course, I had to investigate.
While my brother was more interested in trying to chew through the cord, I wanted to see what the main contraption was all about.
Oh, and I am soooo glad I did.
This thing was so warm and toasty...almost hot. (And you know how I love being warm. When warm laundry is brought in...it's the best to try to sleep in.)
Megs Favorite Thing: Heating Pads! Horray!!!!

Peeping Tom.....Cat

My parents were still asleep. I was bored. I took a quick peek out the bedroom window and what did I see???
I saw that damn peach colored cat up in a tree peeking IN my window!
I started doing my little 'chirpy' noises, so mom woke up to see what I was crowing about. (I think she assumed, like me, that she would look out the window and see a bird or two. Not a kitty in a tree.)
'Peachy' looked all happy perched in that tree. I am still not quite sure how she got up there, since there aren't a lot of branches, but it looked fun.
We sat and stared at eachother for 10-15 minutes and then the fun was over. She jumped out of the tree down into the bushes below.
Maybe mom will invite her over for tuna sometime.

Can you STAND it?

The cuteness that is.
I guess Meg decided that it was bath time for Jack. Boys are smelly, ya know.

I don't get it....

WTF?

I don't know if I should laugh (yes, kittys can laugh) or go back and hide under the blankets.
